Parents and Friends Association
The PFA is made up of parents, teachers and community members. We work together to provide fun out of school activities for children, parents and friends, and raise money along the way. The money raised goes towards supporting the school for both curricular and extra-curricular activities as well as resources. The PFA also helps fund the transportation of the children when educated off site – in particular the annual Junior Residential. We also organise the Christmas party each year for the children, including a very special guest... Father Christmas!
We usually meet around 3 to 4 times a year. Our meetings are informal and friendly and new members are always welcome. We are always looking for new and exciting ways to have some fun and raise some money.
We organise an annual clothing collection which raises money for both the PFA and the local Air Ambulance.
We run a 50 club which pays out cash prizes each month. To join the 50 club please contact the school office at admin@bewcastle.cumbria.sch.uk
